Confidential support for school-related questions and challenges—for everyone involved in the school system.

Target audience

The School Psychology Counseling Center is available to everyone involved in the school community in Bochum: teachers, school administrators, educational professionals, students, and their parents or guardians—from Grundschulen through Berufskollegs.

Services for Schools and Professionals

• Individual counseling, supervision, coaching

• Workshops and support for school development

• Topics: Classroom climate, (cyber)bullying, inclusion, mental health issues, conflicts, teacher well-being, crisis intervention, and much more.

Programs for Students and Parents

• Counseling for learning difficulties, school anxiety, giftedness, and conflicts

• Discussions with the school, conflict mediation

• Assessment of Learning Disabilities (in cooperation with the school)

• Consultations are also available in Russian

Principles

• Voluntary, confidential, free of charge

• Independent and nonpartisan

• Legal duty of confidentiality (Section 203 of the German Criminal Code)
