Delfin 4 language assessment procedure
A child was invited to undergo an assessment of his or her language development.
The assessment will determine whether the child’s language development is age-appropriate. The purpose of the assessment is to ensure that all children receive early language support if needed.
On behalf of the Bochum School District, the Grundschulen, together with the children, invite students to participate in the testing. If a student misses two appointments, the School District will send a letter. Participation in the test is mandatory.
The legal basis is Section 36(2) in conjunction with Section 126(1)(2) of the North Rhine-Westphalia School Act.
