Application for educational support - forms
The following forms must be completed and submitted to the relevant office in order to apply for BAföG. You will find a classification by color, according to which you can deduce who has to fill out the corresponding documents. In addition to the basic form (Form 01), there are additional documents that only need to be completed as required.

Color-coding of forms
The color-coding serves as a visual guide and indicates who is responsible for filling out the relevant forms.
The documents marked "Petrol" must be completed by the applicant
The documents marked in red must be completed by the parents, spouse, or registered partner.
The documents marked in yellow must be completed by the training institution

Bank statements with a value date current as of the date of application
Statements of Financial Position
Vehicle registration certificate for your own vehicle
Proof of personal health and long-term care insurance starting at age 25
Pension Notices (Half-Orphan's Pension; Full-Orphan's Pension)
